Drew’s is honestly one of the best restaurants in the city. Their brunch is fantastic, but if you really want to have an experience, go for dinner. Amazing food! Seriously, everything is excellent, especially steaks and chops. Not only are they cooked to perfection, but Drew’s is also quite creative with the dishes they put on the menu.Tonight I had a blueberry glazed pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes, spinach, Brussels sprouts, and bacon-wrapped dates. Absolutely to die for. Far better than what I’ve had at many higher end steakhouses in Chicago.The service is always impeccable. Friendly and extremely efficient.And beyond al that, it’s actually quite affordable, especially for the quality of food they’re serving.There’s a reason we keep coming back!

Drew's is always a great time! My friends and I went for cocktails and dessert -- all delicious! -- and had a lovely evening on the patio. Rob took excellent care of us. We'll definitely keep coming back and we can't wait to try brunch!

This is my go to place for an after work drink with peers or without. I can enjoy the appetizers and grab an entree to take home for dinner. The atmosphere is great. Caesar is a wonderful bartender --- he forgets nothing. The owners are always around and caring --- not aloof.

Overall great brunch experience. Pricier than comparable brunch menus in the area but the bottomless offering is always appreciated. Service was incredibly fast and the food was excellent. Would absolutely return and highly recommend.

I love Drew’s and everyone should too! Drew is incredible, friendly and accommodating. My birthday brunch was the highlight of my day. Their food is so yummy and their drinks were too! I will definitely be back. My friends loved it.

Great service and good food.The crab cakes were moist. Calamari was fried perfect. Enjoyed the salmon BLT and fish of the day.Great location. Drinks were good also, espresso martini was a hit!

I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant!!! The staff treats you like family, Drew sat us and was such a lovely, friendly person we felt right at home. 2 Things: The BEST AUTHENTIC Caesar salad in Lake View (and YES I mean anchovies, their own yummy garlicky croutons and dressing and quality parmesan)...2) A team (starring Kara in this particular excursion) that goes ALL THE WAY to make sure you have the best dining experience they can deliver! SUPER YUM!!!Specifically, this excursion had me phoning in an order for p/u. Kara took the order which included a special request for extra of an ingredient. Warm and friendly, Kara assured me it was np. When I picked up the order, I saw the noted request on the receipt. When I got home, that ingredient was missing. I called. Kara expressed her disappointment, asked me where I was and DELIVERED IT TO ME AT HOME! SERIOUS COMMITMENT TO CLIENT SATISFACTION!

The food was fantastic - I visited during Restaurant Week and ordered a cocktail, salad, butternut squash ravioli, duck leg with veggies and mashed potatoes and bread pudding for dessert. I was silently greeted by the owner but since everyone is wearing masks and he was not in business casual attire, I wasn’t sure if he was another customer or if he worked for the restaurant. He was very friendly and sat me right away to explain the menu options. There was a significant wait after I finished my entree (they were not very busy as it was Sunday night) and I felt they forgot about me since I was dining solo but I felt the food and atmosphere made up for it for the most part. Worth a visit, I saw many returning customers who were friendly with the owner and staff as they had been there before and planned to return in the future.

We stopped in for a drink and an appetizer and were delighted with the service and the food. We had an Italian Prosecco that was tasty. We split the Mac and Cheese appetizer- that was light and cheesy and hit the spot. Add a pleasant conversation with the owner and the visit was complete!

Our group of 4 was there on a recent Friday before Blue Man Group. We all enjoyed our food. I had the Cajun penne pasta and found the flavor spot on. Nicely spicy but not overpowering. Another of our group had the Amish roasted half chicken and was still talking about it the next day. She was very sad she couldn't take the leftovers with her but our hotel room didn't have a fridge. Service seemed very good to us but we weren't in a hurry.

My husband and I's favorite spot for any Martini in the world. Yes we said it! The food is an eclectic mix of amazing dishes I have yet to finish trying. We are fans of all the kitchen and bar staff. We pretty much ignore everything and anyone else as the service and owners themselves are stellar enough. Thanks for making our valuable money and time worth while Drew, Cesar, and staff all outside of the entertainment they host. One of the last places during covid-19 with customer service and great food as a top priority.

Loved this place! The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing. It was also very clean and mindful of COVID guidelines. They also gave me a complimentary dessert for my birthday and it was hands down the best brownie I've ever had. Will definitely return!

Discovered brunch is popular in Chicago so thought we'd give it a try. First restaurant to pop up on a search was Drew's on Halstead and we're so glad we tried it. Service was excellent; Rob was attentive and funny. We had the Champagne Mimosa Brunch, with bottomless mimosas and an entree. Fabulous! Bring cash. Will absolutely come back to Drew's again.

Great food and drinks! The Asian baby back ribs were amazing!!! Also loved the pork chops. They had a Cabaret Shows that We really loved! Next time in Chicago definitely going back!

I've been to Drew's a handful of times through glowing recommendations by others. I have had great experiences each time for sure. The menu is delicious, the restaurant is quite relaxing to sit and enjoy the company your with over dinner, and the wait staff is great. In my opinion the is a really good go and a very fair check when paying the tab.

we had a lovely time at this restaurant. The food was excellent, though if I had one quibble, it would be that they did not serve me enough of the excellent roasted vegetables as the side accompaniment for my main dish. The service was good. And we had a great deal of fun listening to the singers in this cabaret style eating establishment.

I absolutely love Drew's on Halsted! We were there on a Wednesday night and their Cabaret singing show was utterly fantastic. The great City of Chicago is known for having live musical performances, and I'm so happy that Drew's on Halsted has a wonderful musical director and Russ Goeltenbodt to provide Cabaret entertainment. The food at Drew's was excellent, we had the pear and goat cheese salad, crab cakes, and beef medallions. Everything was fantastic. The wait staff were friendly and accommodating. I give Drew's on Halsted five stars and recommend people go in for their live Cabaret singing Nights

Bowtie pasta was good and the salmon my husband got was also very good! Table service was a little lax but we had no wait time when we arrived and were greeted and sat by friendly staff. Only 2 suggestions is to work on staff to keep refills coming and maybe change up the bread otherwise would recommend!!

This place is great. You really owe it to yourself to try it if you’re in the area. Service was pretty good and prices are very reasonable. I would come back if I were looking for a quick bite in the area. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired.

Our favorite restaurant in boystown! We found out about them because they catered a party at the building we live at. The food was fantastic, so we figured we'd give them a try. We loved it. The food was perfection, the service impeccable and the atmosphere charming. Anytime we have out-of-town visitors we bring them to Drew's because we know we won't be disappointed. The martini's are great too!

This is my favorite brunch place - the three dollar mimosas are hard to beat and they're GOOD. So are the 5 dollar sangrias. food is great to. I highly recommend the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Really anything is great here. Bloody Mary bar is fun too!

Did not eat. Only stopped for a quick drink, because we were early for a show. The Bloody Mary bar was awesome. The hostess was unbelievable and very friendly. She even brought us a platefull of appetizer-accompaniments from the Bloody Mary Bar. I would definitely go back and enjoy a great dining experience. I'm sure the food and service would be 5-star. Check Drew's out, I'm sure you will be amazed.

Be sure to make a reservation. The wonderful people at Drew's were able to fit us in at the bar but a reservation would have been better. The food was fantastic and the service was far above the norm.

This place was fabulous! We stopped by after watching The Blue Man Group show. It was right down the street. The ambiance was perfect and the food was amazing. The person who greeted us ended up being the owner and was so welcoming. The manager stopped by our table and was so genuine and funny. We absolutely loved it here.

If you're not picky about execution, you'll enjoy your meal. We had the duck and the chicken, but both were dry. The sides were spot-on in flavor and texture. Chocolate lava cake should have a liquid center, but there's is basically just a rich chocolate cake. Overall, the service was good and the meal was tasty. They just stick the landing a bit.

We had an excellent pre fixe dinner which included tasty salmon. My wife had that. I opted for pasta with scallops and shrimp in white sauce which was very good. The dinner was capped with delicious bread pudding in a sweet caramel sauce.

Awesome food.. we did the deal online with the blue man group tickets. Only $5 to park at drew's.. you get a list of food that is offered when you buy your food ticket online with the blue man tickets.. was a pretty good list to pick from. We would do it all the same again. Super easy and saved alot of money buy both online. 🖒🖒

The service and food is good. Outside patio is the best in the Spring through the fall. Great music and bar staff. We love this place and come here twice a month. Keep up the great work!! Really enjoyed my first time here the server was great along with the music and food! I had the cheese royale burger and added an avocado with sweet potato fries very tasty.

This is the second time I've eaten here and the experience this time was just as good as the first time. We made reservations and when we arrived were immediately seated. The staff was kind and attentive and the drinks were good.I ordered the lamb shanks and thought they were excellently done. The scalloped potatoes went well with the meal. I finished it with a nice blueberry desert. Overall the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the service was great. I would recommend having dinner here if you get the chance.

Went here before going to Blue Man Group. Tip: If you are hoping for the dinner & Blue Man prix fix option, you need to reserve it 3 days in advance. We were unable to get that option since we made our reservations only the day before. Still, we had good food & service, but the restaurant itself was cold & drafty. They had a double door entry system, where you enter through one door into a small entry way, and then there's another door before entering into the restaurant proper. This is designed to keep out drafts, except that the restaurant kept one of the doors propped open. So every time someone entered the restaurant, and stood there with the door open waiting for the rest of their group to catch up, which seemed to be all the time, the bitter cold blew into the entire dining area. If they had just kept both doors closed and used the double door system properly, it would have been a much more pleasant dining experience.
