On Sept. 29, 2018 Ald. Tom Tunney (44th Ward), Howard Brown Health, Northalsted Business Alliance and Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events unveiled The Love I Vibrate a queer themed mural at the corner of 3245 N. Halsted St.
Artists Sandra Antongiorgi Music Artist, Andy Bellomo, and Sam Kirk completed the LGBTQ tribute mural intended to open dialogue about queer culture and community, with an emphasis on intersectionality. Read an interview with the artists at designtofive.com
The 750-square-foot mural covering the entire south wall of the Howard Brown Health Center honors non-binary community members and features holistic healer and interdisciplinary artist Kiam Marcelo Junio, whose work can be seen at kiam-marcelo-judo.com.
