Northalsted Market Days® 2021 will feature breakthrough LGBTQ+ talent on a new Community Pride Stage. Ten aspiring LGBTQ+ identifying performers/bands are being booked now for unplugged sets at this year’s festival, August 6-8. Mainstage talent lineup and schedules will be announced soon.
Applications are now closed. The deadline was June 10, 2021.

In addition to solo artists, duos and small bands are also being considered for the Northalsted Market Days summer music street festival Community Pride Stage.
Building a following in the Chicago music scene is hard enough, perhaps even moreso for LGBTQ artists. Most performers who are not yet established are not a big enough draw to play a mainstage at a festival like Chicago’s Northalsted Market Days.

The 39th annual Northalsted Market Days is a weekend long festival celebrating life & community in Chicago’s landmark Northalsted/Lakeview district. The 1/2 mile long festival features all-day lineups of live music on 5 stages, 250+ unique vendors, arts, crafts, food and drink, DJ’s and dancing, sponsor booths, and more!
