Chicago Pride Fest 2022 Photo Galleries**

Chicago Pride Fest® is a legendary celebration of Pride and community in Chicago’s landmark Northalsted district, the nation’s first recognized LGBTQ village. The festival took place June 18-19, the weekend before the Chicago Pride Parade (which is on the last Sunday in June). Focusing on live music, vending & entertainment, the street fest features 3 stages with 40+ national and local performers and bands. This year’s headliner’s included Alaska Thunderf*ck, Dorian Electra, Chicago rapper CupcakKe, Eurovision winner Netta, Dyllon Burnside from POSE Queen of the Universe winner Grag Queen, The Aces, Madison Rose, Inaya Day, Mila Jam and The Vixen.

While we honor the past and celebrate progress, the future of LGBTQ+ rights is in jeopardy. View the galleries, then click here for info on getting involved to support the LGBTQ+ community.

Alaska’s Tribute on Father’s Day

Alaska Thunderf*ck’s moving tribute to her late dad, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident only 12 days prior to the festival. The date, happening to fall on Father’s Day made it all the more poignant. Alaska’s entire family was on hand to provide each other support in their time of grief.

Chicago Pride Fest drew an estimated 75,000 visitors, eager to come together again as a community. More than ever, the emphasis was on activism and the continued fight for LGBTQ rights. There was a new Youth Price Space to support LGBTQ teens, featured guest speakers between performances, and a Legacy of Pride visual display to educate, inspire and motivate. Chicago Pride Fest is presented by Northalsted, the area’s chamber of commerce. Donations for entry cover festival expenses & support community programs.
