Progress Bar is the hottest drag bar in Boystown, staffed by some very familiar faces. Designed to be like nothing you have ever seen before. Visually impactful design and decor, wide open windows and expansive floor plan, beautiful and jaw dropping cloud ceiling with impressive liquor and cocktail menu. A concept like nothing Halsted has ever seen before. Engineered to be visually impactful and conceptually profound in almost every way. The wide open windows and expansive floor plan create a space that flows and breathes.

The goal was to create something that was more than a bar. A definitive message wrapped in a hand crafted visuals designed to remind us of how far we’ve come as a community. Progress – Moving forward. Together. Come down, have a drink, and check us out!

Came on a Tuesday not bad. They have industry pricing. Music was good. And the place was lively. Nice environment. Staff could been a little nicer and that would have been 5 stars.

It has a very nice vibe. Free to get in. Good music. It is hard to get the bartenders attention but the drinks were delicious.

Zerrooo(I’m not sure how to spell it) was an amazing barmaid! Her signature drink needs to go on the menu Hellooooo! I had my people drinking it and bystanders as well. It was a mix of orange and something clear(can’t giveaway the secret ingredients😭) but progress stop sleeping on my boo!☺️😚

Honestly, one of the best experiences I've had. It was full of really chill Black people and the music was lit. The bartenders were really responsive and fast. It had a long line but it was worth it and it really moved fast.

Fun bar for dancing and drinking. The bartenders here are always very friendly and quick. I rarely find myself waiting too long for drinks. I also love the lights in this place. They are a mass of regular light bulbs which makes them look almost cloud like.

Great place to meet friends over a drink and dance. The crowd is awesome and very diverse. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the Mgmt is great as well. If u want to have fun, drink and dance, this is the place to go.
