$1,000 in Prizes is up for award following the parade at Halsted & Roscoe. Contestants are judged in four categories: Original, Group, Drag & Scariest, by a discerning panel of drag queens: Trannika Rex, Dixie Lynn Cartwright, DiDa Ritz, The Vixen, Debbie Fox, and Miss Foozie.
The Parade kicks off at 7:30pm led by the Chicago Thriller flash mob. Now in their sixth year, the group performs a full Michael Jackson dance routine from the classic music video for fun and thrills! Want to join the dancing zombies? They’re looking for you!
Street Closure and Parking Restrictions
Halsted Street between Belmont & Grace will close at 4:30PM on Tuesday, October 31st
Parking restrictions begin at 4:30pm, NO PARKING along the parade route.
Halsted Street will reopen at 9pm.
