We’re sending off the month with our annual plant giveaway at Space Park today at 1pm, then we fully launch into Haunted Halsted. We’re putting our final touches on our October events, starting with the Fall Taste of Northalsted next Saturday, October 4th, and closing with the biggest Halloween party — the Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade! So start planning your costumes and securing your plans with your ghoul-friends, and join us for the most fang-tastic month in Chicago’s Proudest Neighborhood!

Calling all plant lovers! As autumn descends and leaves begin to drop, we have something to add a splash of green to your indoor spaces. SSA #18 is hosting a plant giveaway event at Space Park on Roscoe, where Brightview Landscapes will be on hand for a portion of the event to provide plant care instruction to anybody who wants to provide these beautiful summer plants a cozy winter home. The beautiful foliage in our planters up and down Halsted can be a part of your plant family! Mark your calendar for September 26th, from 1pm to 6pm, and come down to adopt a plant. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to enrich your green collection!
The Taste of Northalsted is BACK!
Stroll through Northalsted on October 4th and indulge in a culinary adventure with the Fall Taste of Northalsted! Featuring over 20 locations, you’ll have the chance to savor selected dishes from the neighborhood’s top restaurants while visiting many of our other retail and service-based businesses to sample a variety of beers, spirits, and cocktails. Tickets are just $30 in advance, making it an affordable way to experience all that Northalsted has to offer. This event has sold out previously, so get your tickets now!
