Northalsted Halloween Pup Crawl 2025
Join us for our 11th Annual Northalsted Halloween Pup Crawl!
From Aldine to Cornelia, you and your 4-legged friends can peruse the sidewalks and meet a variety of Northalsted Business and pet centric vendors. When you pick up your Pup Crawl tote bag at registration, you will be able to collect all of the information, swag, and treats these business have to offer! Join us at 2pm on the Lark Patio where Miss Foozie will be hosting the official after-party brunch. In addition to the delicious offerings of the Lark menu, there will be treats, gift bags, & raffle prizes! Costumes Encouraged!
$5 Advance Registration
- (Includes a tote bag, raffle entry, and additional pup swag)
- Check in will be on the corner of Halsted & Aldine beginning at 10am.
Snap a pic with Miss Foozie from 10am-1pm
- Miss Foozie’s Photo Booth is free for all registered pets
- Photos taken by Ken Brown will be available online in the weeks following the event.
Lark Pup Patio Brunch begins at 11am with Raffle Drawings beginning at 2pm.
- Lark is located at 3441 N Halsted (near Cornelia).

Northalsted + SSA 18 Plant Giveaway
Calling all plant lovers! As autumn descends and leaves begin to drop, we have something to add a splash of green to your indoor spaces. SSA 18 is hosting a plant giveaway event at Space Park on Roscoe, where Brightview Landscapes will be on hand for a portion of the event to provide plant care instruction to anybody who wants to provide these beautiful summer plants a cozy winter home. The beautiful foliage in our planters up and down Halsted can be a part of your plant family! Mark your calendar for September 26th, from 1pm to 6pm, and come down to adopt a plant. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to enrich your green collection!
Santa Speedo Run Northalsted
Santa Speedo Run
Each year since 2011, hundreds of participants have spent a December day running through the heart of East Lakeview in Chicago, clad in nothing more than Santa hats, speedos and other holiday attire.
Why?
Because it’s great fun and raises funds for a great cause, Center on Halsted.
The Center is the Midwest’s most comprehensive community center dedicated to advancing community and securing the health and well-being of LGBTQ people across Chicagoland.
Your run makes a huge difference.

Register for the event today. Then, mark your calendars with these key details for the day:
Date:Â Saturday, December 2nd, 2023. 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
12 pm:Â Sign-in @ Sidetrack
2 pm:Â 1-mile run through Lakeview East
2:30 pm:Â Awards, entertainment and door prizes!
4-8 pm:Â The After-Party!
Sidetrack is open until 3 am Saturdays, so the party continues into the night!
